Check out my lil bro and his song “Then They Left Town”. He wrote everything himself, the lyrics and music, as well as planned this shoot in an abandoned house in Corona.
I’m such a proud big sis to say the least.
gives me goooosebumps. love love.
This coffee mug and stereo have been my best friends lately. Oh, and I can’t forget about mr. GPS. He’s up there as well. I’m in this season of my life where on any day of the week you will find me driving to either LA, San Diego, or Fontana. Traffic is horrible and without my coffee and music, I think I would go a little bit crazy.
With all of this driving and listening to music, I’m really in need of some new stuff. Pheonix and Bon Iver are amazing, but after you have listened to each of their albums what feels like 3 times in one traffic session… you are in need of something new. Any suggestions??
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to go to Bamboozle in Anaheim for free. Now, being that I grew out of most of the Bamboozle bands like 4 years ago- I thought what the heck, its free and I’m not doing anything tonight, why not??
And I am so glad that I did- because I was able to meet Micah Smith, an awesome graphic designer who specializes in band posters. I was looking at his booth he set up @the show and asked the guy sitting behind the table, “who designs these posters?”, when he answered, “me”, I was stoked and got to talk to him for a few minutes and ask him questions. He has even been so kind as to promptly email me back after I asked him more questions via email. His stuff is awesome, and you should definitely check out his portfolio site, My Associate Cornelius.
Here’s one of Micha’s posters I like. I think I like it not only because of the beautiful color scheme and design, but I am in love with Andrew Bird and St. Vincent. I wish I was able to go to this show!

I love rando suprises, and we had a ton of fun jammin to some of my old favorite bands like Say Anything and Angels and Airwaves. I think shows with the right setting and the right people to hang with are always fun.
