So awesome. Its the process of art that you truly learn and experience the most from, and this piece does just that. Im about to get deep on you for a sec- but I feel like this piece really displays who we are as humans. Its the process that makes us who we are. We can feel scattered, living every day with a new color and living what comes, seeming like we’re going nowhere- and we may seem like we’re making a mess sometimes, but the process and the result is a truly beautiful mess. What a beautiful mess!

Ummm ok this is like the coolest thing ever. A carpet made out of forks?? And the colors are wonderful! Their blog has tons of other carpets made out of more crazy stuff- like pasta and toy army men! You gotta check it out! Thanks Design Love Fest for the find!

Pattern Inspirations
I find myself looking at a lot of different patterns lately. They are all over the place! I am especially inspired by these ones lately:
Brandi Strickland. Her work is amazing. Filled with different colors, patterns and mediums.
Hygge & West. They sell these samples of the wallpaper they produce for $5 per design. I think it would be awesome to fill a wall with a bunch of samples and have a crazy patterned wall.
Jim Denevan. His work takes patterns to the next level by creating them on the sand and earth, where they eventually get washed away by the waves and weather. His dedication to work that will just be washed away is inspiring. Reminds me of Andy Goldsworthy.
And of course, the everyday patterns we see all the time, but when payed attention to, they can truly be beautiful. Especially through the eyes of this photographer. Speaking of which…my bed is looking pretty cozy right now… Goodnight readers!
